Mission and Purpose

We are so excited that you are interested in exploring your story with Upward Bound! We are a college-prep program that aims to help high school students find their path after graduation.  We service 63 high school students in six surrounding high schools in Rutland County. We understand that no one's path to college looks the same, and we encourage our students to explore all of their interests. We help build their confidence, leadership abilities, soft skills, broaden their experiences, and help them explore their college possibilities after high school.  

There are two ways to be eligible:

• Neither parent/guardian has completed a bachelor's degree

• Or the family is low to moderate income, based on the federal guidelines.
