Our Mission

Upward Bound values each participant as a unique individual deserving of advocacy, educational opportunities, and guidance for self-awareness and college completion. Students join Upward Bound for its supportive community of peers and staff, where they can be themselves, make friends, receive academic support, and enhance their cultural awareness. Dedicated staff offer encouragement and connect students to university resources crucial for their success.

There are two ways to be eligible:

• Neither parent/guardian has completed a bachelor's degree

• Or the family is low to moderate income, based on the federal guidelines.
